a romantic escape!

the room was recently refurbished and looked to a very good standard. breakfast was scrumptious, and my wife mentioned it was one of the best vegetarian breakfasts she'd ever had. the pub was really nice and friendly!!!

some issues
black moulddietary restrictions
the breakfast wasn't great. i have dietary restrictions (heart disease and ibs), and the options didn't cater to my needs. furthermore, the shower had significant black mold around the tray fixing and on the floor grouting. it extended up the corners and even covered the shower mat underneath.

superb stay, comfort and service!

the room was efficient and met my needs perfectly. i really appreciated the staff who were professional and clearly explained fire safety at check-in. the pub food was amazing, providing great value with an included breakfast.
the access to the hotel rooms from the parking lot is a bit unkempt, a minor drawback.
